Lisa M. Chimera serves as Deputy County Executive for Erie County, bringing decades of experience in public service, education, and local government. A former special education teacher, Town of Tonawanda Board member, and Erie County Legislator representing District 3, representing Tonawanda, Kenmore, Grand Island, and parts of North Buffalo, Chimera has built her career around serving working families, older adults, children, and communities across Erie County.

In her role as Deputy County Executive, she helps advance countywide initiatives focused on health, human services, affordability, food access, mental health, infrastructure, and community well-being. She also serves as Co-Chair of Live Well Erie, working with partners across government, nonprofit, education, and community sectors to support residents at every stage of life
